Agreenculture, a French-based startup specializing in the autonomy and safety of agricultural machinery and tractors, has raised €6 million in a Series A equity round from Supernova Invest, Future Food Fund and Unilis (Unigrains Group). Alongside this funding round, Agreenculture has secured a credit facility from Crédit Agricole Toulouse 31.
The capital injection will enable the company to enhance, standardize, and industrialize its products for rapid integration, while strengthening its commercial deployment. This growth will reinforce Agreenculture’s ability to support agricultural machinery and tractor manufacturers (OEMs) in deploying safe and reliable autonomous machines, while broadening access to autonomous machinery across multiple markets.

Addressing labour shortages in agriculture
As agriculture faces a growing shortage of skilled labour, farm and land management increasingly require safe automation solutions that leverage task management, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability.
Agreenculture provides OEMs with a plug-and-play AGC Autonomy Kit that ensures the precision, autonomy, and safety of machines and tractors. Thanks to Safencing®, machines can operate independently without local supervision. This enables farmers to trust machine performance, extend operating hours, and remotely monitor field operations.

Shift from conventional to regenerative farming
Autonomy also enables a shift towards more sustainable farming practices. Soil compaction can be reduced by replacing large machines with multiple smaller ones, fuel consumption can be minimized, cover cropping becomes more affordable, and the application of fertilizers and pesticides becomes more precise.

Agreenculture is the first technology supplier to offer a safe and certifiable Autonomy Kit. The AGC Autonomy Kit enables machines to operate without local supervision thanks to Safencing®, a secure geofencing system that ensures machines and their tools remain within defined virtual boundaries.
Using S-RTK positioning, the AGC Autonomy Kit is fully compliant with European regulations and can be easily integrated by machinery manufacturers for off-road autonomous navigation.
